Tanner's Monkey

Tanner finished this awesome monkey! He worked on it for a long time and it paid off! Way to go Tanner!!! This is a photo of it because it was too big to scan.

Private Lessons

Currently I teach children in my home once a week.  I do not do classes and teach a specific lesson each week.  We work on drawing, using oil pastels, hard pastels, prismacolor pencils.  Each student comes up with their own project ideas and I help them along. We have an art show each year to show the student's work.  Children from age 5 up are welcome if they can sit and draw for an hour. I would like to work with some older students who are pursuing art in school. Art Contest

I just entered this into an art competition. The theme was "Make Known His Wonderful Works". It has been an interesting process.  Took 9 months and was inspired by 2 dear families that buried babies this year. I hope it appeals to everyone though, not just those who have lost babies in this life.
